ARAVÉ TRI-PLY PAN

A solid titanium cooking surface — not a spray coating, so there's nothing to flake. Underneath, an aluminium core spreads heat evenly, and a stainless steel exterior works on induction. Three layers, each doing one job. PFAS-, lead-, and cadmium-free. Made to last, backed for life.

Three layers,
three jobs.

0.4 mm solid titanium — surface

A solid titanium layer, not a spray coating. There is nothing to flake off into your food. Non-reactive, naturally corrosion-resistant, and free of PFAS, lead, and cadmium. The hammered texture reduces contact between food and the surface, so food sticks less and releases more easily than on a flat stainless pan.

1 mm aluminium — core

Aluminium conducts heat far better than steel or titanium. The core spreads heat across the entire base and eliminates hot spots. Even cooking comes from the aluminium — not from the titanium, and not from the hammered finish.

0.6 mm stainless 430 — exterior

Stainless steel grade 430 is magnetic, so the pan works on induction hobs. It is the durable outer shell — dishwasher-safe, oven-safe, and built to outlast the pans that coat over it.

Built to last.

Aravé: solid titanium surface

No coating. The titanium cooking surface is solid: there is nothing to degrade, flake, or scratch off. The pan performs the same on day one as it does in year ten. Wash it in the dishwasher. Use metal utensils. It does not care.

Because there is no coating to protect, there are also no coating-specific rules. The 30-day trial and lifetime warranty exist because we are confident the pan will not fail.

Coated pans: PTFE, ceramic, "titanium-coated"

Non-stick coatings wear. Heat, utensils, and dishwasher cycles degrade the surface over time. Most coated pans are replaced every two to four years, and when the coating goes, it goes into your food first.

PTFE-based coatings contain PFAS compounds. "Titanium-coated" pans have a titanium spray over a non-stick base, and the titanium is the label, not the cooking surface.

How to cook on it.

This is not a coated pan, so it does not behave like one. Food will stick to a cold pan with no fat. Follow these three steps and it will not.

01

Preheat

Place the pan on the hob over medium heat for two minutes before adding anything. The aluminium core needs time to spread the heat evenly across the surface. A properly preheated pan releases food cleanly.

02

Add fat

Add a small amount of oil or butter. It will shimmer quickly because the pan is already hot. Swirl to coat. The hammered surface texture means fat distributes well and food contacts less of the surface than on a flat stainless pan.

03

Let it release

Do not move the food immediately. Protein, in particular, will release naturally once a sear has formed. If you feel resistance, wait another thirty seconds. That is true for coated pans too — this pan just makes you aware of it.

The 30-day trial exists precisely for this: cook on it, learn the pan, and return it if it is not right for you. Most people find it takes one or two cooks to adjust.

Construction & full specs

The Aravé Tri-Ply Pan is made from three layers, permanently bonded:

  • 0.4 mm solid titanium — the cooking surface. Not a spray coating. Non-reactive, PFAS-free, lead-free, cadmium-free.
  • 1 mm aluminium — the core. Conducts heat evenly across the base.
  • 0.6 mm stainless steel 430 — the exterior. Magnetic, induction-ready, oven-safe.

Dimensions (28):
Diameter: 28
Height: 6 cm  |  Handle length: 22 cm

Compatible: gas, induction, electric, oven (check packaging for max temperature), dishwasher. Not microwave-safe (metal).

Care & cleaning

The pan is dishwasher-safe. Hand washing extends the life of any cookware, but it is not required here.

To remove stuck food: deglaze the pan with water while it is still warm, or soak briefly. The titanium surface does not require any special treatment and will not react with acidic foods.

Do not use steel wool — it will scratch the surface. A soft sponge or nylon brush is sufficient.

30-day trial, lifetime warranty & shipping

30-day trial. Cook on the pan for up to 30 days. If it is not right for you, contact us for a full refund. No questions asked. The trial exists because adjusting to a non-coated pan takes a cook or two, and we want you to have that time.

Lifetime warranty. We cover manufacturing defects for the life of the pan. There is no coating to wear out, which is why the warranty is credible: the things that usually cause a pan to fail do not apply here.

Shipping. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days. See the contact page for current delivery times to your region.

A few common questions

Is it non-stick?
No, and we do not call it that. Non-stick usually means a PTFE or ceramic coating that wears off. This pan has no coating. Food releases more easily than on a flat stainless pan — because the hammered texture reduces contact — but it requires proper preheating and fat. See "How to cook on it" above.

Is it 100% titanium?
No. The cooking surface is solid titanium (0.4 mm).The pan is tri-ply: titanium / aluminium / stainless steel.Calling it "100% titanium" would be false.

Why does it cost more than a coated pan?
A solid titanium surface costs more to manufacture than a spray coating. It also lasts longer: you will not replace this pan in two years. One pan for a lifetime tends to be less expensive than replacing a $40 pan every few years.

Can I use metal utensils?
Yes. The solid titanium surface will not be damaged by metal utensils the way a coated surface would.
